Communications Intern

OVERVIEW
The Communications Intern will be responsible for supporting creative execution that represents and positions Phenomblue appropriately to our various audiences. While the role requires a background and skill set in design, it also requires administrative support, as well as copywriting and/or development support. Phenomblue internships are designed to provide real-world experience along with the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented and smartest people in the industry. You will work within the Communications team, helping to support the Marketing and Sales, New Business and Creative teams, as needed. This role will report to the VP, Communications.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in interactive, visual or graphic design, and is currently in their second or third year. Must be extremely organized, self-motivated and passionate with an aptitude for problem solving and desire to expand their skill set in a professional setting. Proven experience using Adobe CS and a familiarity with HTML, CSS, JS and the capabilities and limitations of current web browsers is preferred.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The details of the duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:

CREATIVE EXECUTION
Must be able to design and create print and digital marketing collateral for use by the Marketing and Sales team to solicit new business and showcase current/past work. With strategic direction provided, should be able to identify solutions and execute work that is on brand and fulfills the business objectives provided.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Will assist Communications team with various tasks as needed, including research, website updates, pitches, social media, etc.

COPYWRITING/DEVELOPMENT
Ability to further support marketing efforts through copywriting and/or development support.

Vice President, Practice Lead

OVERVIEW
The Vice President, Practice Lead is responsible for the development and growth of new and existing client accounts. In addition to securing qualified new business opportunities and managing the practice to reach growth goals, the role is primarily responsible for the execution of the firm’s Rova Method with clients — an industry-leading proprietary engagement platform used to create actionable and measurable strategic plans, including high-level creative and tactical executions. You will work with the New Client Acquisition team to close qualified opportunities for new accounts, which directly contribute to the firm’s overall growth. You will lead a practice that consists of Account Directors, Project Managers and Business Analysts, serving multiple clients to deliver measurable results, and directly supervise Account Directors within your practice to ensure client growth goals are met. This role reports directly to the CEO.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in a similar role with extensive experience working in marketing, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. MBA or equivalent experience required and experience working directly with C-level executives regularly is a must. Consulting or agency background a plus, however an ability to show proven sales capability is a must (i.e. not your traditional agency account director). Must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to discover and diagnose client challenges, while turning those challenges into opportunities for new business. Requires extensive comprehension and experience selling professional services to clients, and how to curate long-term relationships. Moderate travel anticipated.

Directly responsible for agency billings and expected to close new business, working alongside the Director of Client Acquisition.

Works with our cross-functional, internal teams, as well as potential sales leads. You will be team oriented, but able to manage relationships independently and make decisions swiftly.

OTHER
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related activities as needed.

Account Director

OVERVIEW
Phenomblue is searching for an Account Director. The role is responsible for the development and management of Phenomblue clients reporting directly to a VP, Practice Lead. You are primarily responsible for ensuring the needs of clients are fulfilled and growing the business by working collaboratively with our analysts and creatives to identify and evaluate trends within clients’ businesses, proactively recommending solutions to achieve success. Executing within our Rova Method you will be a strategic asset for our clients, directly impacting the success of their business.
