Phenomblue, a leading brand experience agency of strategists, designers and engineers using technology to connect people and brands, is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join our Design group. This individual will be responsible for creating insightful and inspiring design that graphically tells stories across interactive mediums. This person will have an exceptional understanding of design theory and methodologies that are built upon best practices for usability and execution. 

Our Design group consists of graphic, user experience and motion artists that have a honed sense of how to combine design with strategy and technology to create a strong sense of desire within the creative executions we produce.

The duties and responsibilities of this role are as follows:

Creating original and fully developed concepts and designs across multiple projects throughout the different stages of an execution. Preparing, managing and delivering precise, optimized and well organized design assets to the Technology group. Proactively providing insights and designs for client and internal advancements.

Working collaboratively with design and production leadership to identify necessary internal and external resources, timing, availability, costs and project requirements. Provide design guidance and mentorship to help ensure the success and growth of other design group members.

Working with multidisciplinary teams such as Creative, Engagement, Technology and Client Services to understand business objectives, demographics, branding, concept and direction for digital executions, proposals and presentations.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of proven experience and a current portfolio showcasing their abilities in concepting, designing and executing for a variety of interactive mediums and technologies, with a strong understanding of user experience and its relation to design. The candidate will have a passion for all things digital, with working knowledge of technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, web standards and practices.

Phenomblue has two offices: Omaha and Los Angeles. Both have General Manager roles that report to the COO. Additionally, there is a support person in Omaha to help with HR and accounting.
