Project Manager

Phenomblue, a leading brand experience agency of strategists, designers and engineers using technology to connect people and brands, is seeking an extremely organized Project Manager with a meticulous eye for details for our Client Services group. This person will be responsible for setting up, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, resourcing, reporting and managing deliverables for technology-driven projects while ensuring flawless execution, quality and profitability.

Our Client Services group consists of Engagement Directors, Account Directors and highly skilled Project Managers. What we have in common is a keen sense of how strategy, technology, design and execution can drive our clients’ businesses forward. 

The duties and responsibilities of this role are as follows:

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
As the main contact point between agency and client, work with and guide the client on a project level to ensure their needs are met and that their projects maintain agency expectations for quality and profitability. Provide insights, recommendations and guidance for clients and agency teams when appropriate.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Estimate and develop well-written and detailed scopes of work across multiple projects. Clearly define the level of effort, timing and costs required to execute projects in accordance with agency quality expectations and financial goals. Manage and control the approved budget, scope of work and change-control process while anticipating and addressing risks and challenges. Assemble, create and proof all needed project documentation.

TEAM LEADERSHIP
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify needed internal and external resources, timing, availability, costs and project requirements. Lead and make decisions to facilitate all project organization and communication for both the client and agency teams to maintain an efficient and well-understood workflow from project kick-off to final delivery. Motivate and guide agency teams to provide the highest quality and efficiency of work.

REPORTING
Oversee project workflows and report on agency’s contributions to client KPIs and project profitability. Schedule and provide regular progress, timing, scope and budget-status updates to client and agency teams as needed, including project completion summaries and postmortems. 

QUALIFICATIONS
The Project Manager must have 3-5 years of proven production experience managing multiple projects while demonstrating a deep knowledge of all things digital: production, site development, mobile platforms, rich media, audio and video. Must be an excellent public speaker with a strong understanding of the principles of advertising, marketing, media, quality assurance and project planning, and an aptitude for defining solutions that will generate measurable results for the client. The ideal candidate will also have the ability motivate, manage and lead client and agency teams from conception to completion of multiple projects.
