Google has had a lot going on this last week, including stock market woes following a premature earnings report and interesting revelations about its data center’s inner workings. While it’s always cool to see how the Internet giant is able to innovate down to the tiniest details, it’s also a bit ironic that the kings of data indexing and automation can fall prey to human error.

And the lines between web development and design continue to blur. The recommendation to present client comps via fully fleshed web mockups further reinforces the importance of responsive design in any web presence. Design can no longer remain static, or it will stagnate.
