Moppet Mashup
Connecting with people and telling stories is at the heart of Big Omaha, an event widely recognized as the nation’s most ambitious conference on innovation and entrepreneurship. Moppet Mashup made attendees part of the show.

About the Work
Moppet Mashup is a customizable and social experience that built excitement and attracted long lines at Big Omaha 2009, an event produced by Silicon Prairie News, the Midwest’s leading source for news on entrepreneurs and creatives.
This Microsoft Surface 1.0 app was an engaging multi-user puppet theater, which was also displayed on a massive rear projection screen. The personalized photo-generated puppets became life-size and an experience to be shared with all at the conference. Moments during the experience could be captured via Twitter by inviting attendees to save screenshots to Twitpic and notify the world with a tweet from the event’s official Twitter account.
