Diet Coke
Tastes great, more filling…with the right food. Tapping master chef Tommy Colicchio, Diet Coke paired the art and love of cooking with the world’s most popular diet soda. A match made in your kitchen.

About the Work
Remember Tab, the soda for those who wanted to keep ‘tabs’ on their weight? Among the first sugarless sodas introduced in 1963, it was quickly overshadowed and outsold in 1982 with the advent of Diet Coke. In just two years, Diet Coke became the top selling diet soft drink in the world. Since then Coca-Cola Company has been positioning Diet Coke as not just a soda, but also a lifestyle.
Looking to extend the Diet Coke brand and backed by an endorsement from master chef Tom Colicchio, Coca-Cola Company launched two interactive kitchen experiences within the website’s Cooking and Entertainment page. We built an interactive kitchen to connect consumers with Diet Coke, extending it to the social realm of dining. Upon entering, the user is zoomed into an upscale 3D kitchen and led to a Diet Coke-branded book filled with content, including recipes and tips for entertaining. We also created realistic animations and a professional kitchen to fit Chef Colicchio’s personality that complements the look and feel of Diet Coke.
